Alejandro Bastien is a teaching artist, creative place-maker for queer communities, and theatre maker. He is originally from Mexico City where he studied a BFA in Theatre and trained physical theatre at La Cabra Salvaje. With the support of the Fulbright program, Alejandro is completing his MFA in Theatre for Youth and Community at Arizona State University. Currently, he dances for Methods of Madness Dance Theater, teaches Drama at Childsplay and is an Acting instructor at Arizona State University. His work focuses on theater for queer communities, Playback Theatre, and theatre for Youth. He loves going to new coffee shops and reading novels.
