What is it the AZ Dance Film Fest
AZ Dance Film Fest is a free site-specific pop-up performance for the Tempe community. Dance enthusiasts, film lovers and drive-in movie day dreamers come together for an evening of choreography for camera and community gathering through the comfort of their own cars.
This event started in 2020 featuring local artists from diverse backgrounds and in varying stages of their artistic journey. The festival will increase exposure for the artists by presenting their work to the Tempe community and provide a free and safe evening of performance appropriate for all ages.
Reimagining creative spaces is essential to the survival of movement arts, drive-in film screenings such as the Arizona Drive-in Dance Film Festival can bring us together as these films become a relic and reflection of today.
